FreeRange Communications (“FRC”) takes your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy.

What This Privacy Policy Covers

FRC provides this Privacy Policy to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information received from users of the FreeRange™ service. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service and is made a part of that agreement. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of such changes by posting a notice and the new Privacy Policy on the FreeRange™ web site, and your continued use of the FreeRange™ web site and the FreeRange™ service will signify your acceptance of the new privacy terms.

What Information Do We Collect?

FRC collects personally identifiable information when (a) you register for the FreeRange™ service, (b) you request information from FRC, or (c) sometimes in connection with promotional activities or events sponsored by FRC. The personally identifiable information may include your name, address, email address, and other contact information.

How Do We Use The Information We Collect?

FRC will not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies, except with your permission to provide products or services you have, or under the following circumstances:

• We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with FreeRange under confidentiality agreements. These companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
• We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
• We believe that it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of FRC’s terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
• We transfer information about you if FRC is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, FreeRange will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

 

Communications from Us

FRC reserves the right to send you unsolicited communications via e-mail, RSS channels or FreeRange™ service channels, for administrative and other purposes in conjunction with your account. Except for advertising which may be presented on FreeRange™ web site and through the FreeRange™ service , we will not send you any unsolicited information, including e-mail, regarding any commercial offers or advertisements from third parties that do not related to the FreeRange™ service.

Children's Privacy

The FreeRange™ web site and the FreeRange™ service are not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. By using the FreeRange™ web site or registering for the FreeRange™ service,, you represent and warrant to FRC that you are 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your FreeRange™ service account in the event that we become aware that you are under 18 years of age or you have provided us with false or misleading information.

Can You View, Correct or Delete Your Personal Information?

FRC will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep your personal information accurate and up-to-date. We would appreciate your help in ensuring the information you provide to us (such as e-mail address and other contact information) is accurate and up-to-date. Providing accurate information helps us serve you better. You may easily up-date your personal information through the account settings tab on the FreeRange™ web site. If you wish to completely delete any information in your user profile after you have submitted information on such fields, then your account may become deactivated.

Is Your Information Secure?

FRC uses physical, electronic and administrative safeguards, including, but not limited to, firewall and password protection for our databases. These safeguards are designed to protect the security of all of our data, including your personal identifiable information.

We encourage the FreeRange™ service users to be aware when they leave the FreeRange™ web site and to read the privacy statements and policies of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information.
