Flight Mode is a powerful feature designed to allow you to continue working with
FreeRange even if you don't have network connectivity like in an airplane or on the subway.
Flight mode can be turned on or off via "Settings" -> "Turn Flight
Mode on", or via the shortkey key. You can tell if Flight Mode is on
by seeing if there is a airplane icon in the top-left of the screen.
Flight mode is also automatically turned on when your Blackberry no longer has network connectivity.
When
Flight Mode is on, every request for Full Story, Send or "Post to
Delicious", is stored in the "Flight mode history" feed which will
always appear at the top of the Feeds screen.
Items in the "Flight mode history" can be operated on as
regular articles. They also can be removed from the history using the
"Delete" menu.
When Flight Mode is turned off, the next Update that occurs
(either automatically or manually) will process all items that in the
"Flight mode history" and send them to the server. Each item
successfully processed will be removed from the history list.
Full Story items are also "Marked for Later" so that you can easily keep track of which articles you need to read.
