• Update menu

    Updating allows you to synchronize folder/feed changes and download new articles since the last time you updated.

    When you access the Update menu, you have the following options (you see the most options if a feed is selected):

    - This feed. This downloads new articles for the currently selected feed.

    - Unread full stories for feed. This downloads all full stories for all unread articles in this feed.

    - All full stories for feed. This downloads all full stories for all articles in this feed.

    - All feeds. This downloads new articles for all feeds. This is also what is called when you turn on automatic update (see below).

    - All "Flight mode history" items. This will only appear if you have items in your "Flight mode history" and have turned off "Automatically download pending 'Flight mode history' items during during Update" in "Settings" -> "Download".
  • Automatic update

    FreeRange has the ability to automatically download new items in the background. It requires that FreeRange is either running or in the background to do so. Automatic update can turned on via "Settings" -> "Download" -> "Time in minutes between automatic Update".
